Our company has a long-term cooperation with primary schools, secondary schools and universities, where we implement objective, effective and modern career counselling for students.
We believe that prevention of wrong selection of school or profession is better than resulting retraining or long-term unemployment.
As long-term research shows, every second secondary schools or university graduate in the Czech Republic works in a different field then he or she studied within three years after graduation. Every fourth becomes unemployed.
In the school the career counselling is quite formal. Counselling is only the mapping of students’ interests without relation to the situation in the labour market. The responsibility for school selection is left to parents, friends or postponed to the future.
Responsible and progressive schools are willing to change the traditional concept of career guidance. Within the subject Focus on Career Choice the schools involve partners who are employers, Job Centers, consulting agencies and they also provide school career counselors with appropriate instruments.
We offer our career counseling for this type of schools and support it with our computer diagnostics COMDI.
More information about this tool is available on www.comdi.cz
