RCV has run retraining courses accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs since 2002. Now our portfolio includes more than 150 types of educational programmes and our offer is permanently updated and enlarged in accordance with the labour market needs. Annually several thousand unemployed, employed and other interested people of all ages participate in our programmes. We especially focus on professional education in blue collar and white collar area, including additional training in PC literacy, legislation and foreign languages. The retraining courses closely follow on our career consulting, educational programmes and recruitment agency activities. Our aim is to make sure that the education is a way to find a good job not only to get a formal certificate.

PRACTICAL TRAINING FIRST

Our retraining courses are primarily focused on acquiring practical experience and knowledge not on theoretical training in a classroom. In most of our educational programmes the theory makes up only 20% of the training time and the rest is spent on intensive practical training. At the end of the course we can guarantee that the trained participant knows his profession not only theoretically but also practically in accordance with the labour market needs.

The practical training takes place directly in the working environment of selected employers. The course participant has a chance to acquire knowledge and experience in the real work environment with modern facilities and technologies. It is hard to achieve this result in a classic training classroom. The content of the training can be at the same time adapted to specific conditions required by the employer (business field, working hours and work safety). All participants have a special health insurance during the whole course.

Final exams of the courses are combined with evaluation of theoretical and practical knowledge. The participant is continuously monitored and evaluated during the course. The results of this evaluation are recorded in his or her work book which can be used for future references.

For the unemployed course participants we create conditions to help them find a new job position because their potential employers have a chance to check and train new employees according to their requirements without the usual risks of probation period. More than 40% of our clients find a new job during the education. More than 80% of our clients find a new job within 3 month from the end of the course.

HIGH EDUCATION FLEXIBILITY

Our educational programmes adapt to our clients needs. Year-round education is standard, regardless of usual school vacations or working hours. For Job Office clients our courses fully correspond to the requirements of the Czech Employment Act.

Syllabus is always adapted to time requirements of the clients. In addition to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports guidelines for the area of jobless education, our courses follow individual plan which takes into consideration the employers needs and transport requirements of the participants.

Within education we implement up-to-date information technology which uses e-learning, virtual classrooms and intranet data sharing.

The practical training takes place in participant’s home or in a place within easy commute from the participant’s home in the whole Czech Republic. This way we support the unemployed people who need to find a suitable job without transport complications. The place of the practical training is always consulted with the participant. In case of company courses the training takes place directly on a suitable employers’ premises. In case of unexpected operational complications the employees are immediately available.

We are able to start our courses with only one participant in accordance with customer’s time requirements. It isn’t necessary to wait for formation of a study group or a certain date. Thanks to our nationwide activities we are able to bring together participants regionally for theoretical training. The practical training takes usually place individually by placing one client to one workplace. For courses temporarily in short supply we are able to find individual theoretical and practical training directly on employers’ premises with selected individual lecturer.

EXTRA CUSTOMER SERVICES

Education is a process which in our company doesn’t start by the entry to classroom and doesn’t end by awarding certification. Within our retraining courses we try to provide full service for our customers in all stages of lifelong learning.

Before the start of retraining course we offer our clients the possibility to choose the most suitable profession with the help of our job diagnostics. The client therefore starts a course whose content corresponds to his personal profile, talent, health and current situation in the labour market. For Job Office clients we provide assistance at the start of their retraining course, especially when they start practice on employer’s premises.

During the retraining course our lecturers or educational programme consultants who visit clients directly at retraining course communicate with them. Potential problems can be solved flexibly and directly at the place of retraining course. The educational programme consultant also provides administrative service and consulting for practical training providers – employers.

At the end of the course we help the Job Office clients with acquiring a new job, optimally in the place of his or her retraining . We also advise the employers about subsidies for newly created jobs or we help to organize a selection process.

We acquire feedback about training efficiency and job sustainability from our clients who found job thanks to our retraining courses. This feedback is subsequently used for innovation of our retraining courses and publication activities.
